Tijuca Forest

Tijuca Forest Approx. Time: 4 hours
Activity Level: Easiest

The Tijuca Forest is the largest urban forest in the world and houses thousands of life forms including tine tree monkeys. It is all that remains of Rio's tropical jungle. Take a jeep tour in the forest and see the difference between nature and the city. You will be making a stop at Macaco's Waterfall for a bath. Later on see the Chinese View, the Emperor’s Table, Cascatinha Taunay and the Mayrink Chapel. With a guide you will get a chance to get closer to nature by hiking on a light trail. Make sure to stay with the guide as people can get lost in the forest.
