The Pao de Acucar, also known as the Sugar Loaf, has two cable cars that carry you up to a spectacular view of Rio. The cable ride takes two stages (3 minutes each), and it is definitely worthwhile. From the top you have a wonderful view of Rio, including historical downtown and even Niterói - the city across the bay. The Sugar Loaf is the main attraction of Guanabara Bay where fishing, boating and sailing are abundant.
