Dom Bosco ChurchApprox. Time: 2 hours
Activity Level: Easiest

The Dom Bosco Church is considered one of the most beautiful in the world, and also has a very interesting history. Projected by the architect Carlos Alberto Nanes, it occupies a square of 40 x 40 meters, without any apparent column. Special attention must be given to the beautiful central luster, with 2,700 Kg of crystal that came from the city of Cristalina, located in the state of Goias. The cost of keeping the luster lights on is R$ 5 per minute. It is the breakeven point of the nave, because the steel capes that cross the columns meet at the luster, which is then responsible for tying the concrete. The blue color of the vitreous means daylight.
