Buriti Palace

Buriti Palace Approx. Time: 2 hours
Activity Level: Easy to Moderate

The statue of a wolf feeding the twins Rômulo and Remo, that adorns the Buriti Palace, is a replica of the Roman statue. The replica was a gift from the Italian Government, since Brasilia’s and Roma’s anniversaries take place on the same day: April 21. Also in the Buriti Palace there is also an original column from the Roman Empire.
