Featherdale will be celebrated Australia Day this year with over 2000 local residents. The Park, in conjunction with Blacktown Council hosted a breakfast at Featherdale from 7am on Sunday 26th January.

The Lions Club supplied a scrumptious free sausage sizzle for breakfast and the children joined in on a treasure hunt, with each child taking a prize home. Everyone had a wonderful time. The Australia Day celebrations were such a success that council is planning to expand on the idea for next year. Watch this space for further updates.

The park was awarded the following three prestigious awards at the Western Sydney Industry Awards: Major Tourist Attraction, Tourism Retailing and The Most Outstanding Contribution to Tourism in Western Sydney by a Large Business. Featherdale has won the Major Tourist Attraction and Tourism Retailing awards each year for the last four consecutive years.
