Depart from Santiago early morning to allow plenty of time in the Andes. Enjoy the views of Santiago Valley on the ascent over windy paved roads that follow the Mapocho River through a number of quaint mountain villages. Winter sports lovers, whether first-time skiers or old pros, will enjoy the excellent facilities available in the Andes. An array of restaurants, all with stunning mountain views, are available for lunch. Ski all day, then return to Santiago late in the afternoon.
