Toconao and The Atacama Salt Flat

Depart for the oasis of Toconao, and begin your discovery by visiting the village's imposing bell tower and numerous alleys packed with small craft workshops. The tour continues with a stroll through the apple, pomegranate and quince orchards that line the Jeria Ravine. From there, visit Salar de Atacama, the largest salt flat in Chile. Finally, visit the Chaxa Lagoon, a habitat for three types of flamingoes as well as a number of migratory birds, before returning to San Pedro de Atacama.
