This is Kilometer 0 for all Argentinean routes. It has the monument of the Two Congresses and is the seat of the National Congress, which houses the Chambers of Senators and Deputies. In the Avenida de Mayo, with its beautiful buildings in varied styles, is the Café Tortoni at No. 829. Cafe Tortoni is the oldest artist's café of the city, where one can find tango and jazz music at night.
