The turn of the century found Buenos Aires slowly developing into the huge cosmopolitan city of today. We will walk and visit some of the places which are witnesses of this era of grandeur: THE COLON THEATRE, one of the most renowned and spectacular in the world. Through the years the Theater has built its own reputation hosting world-class artists such as Caruso, Toscanini, Menuhin, Pavarotti and Domingo, among others. Together with the Theatre the tour includes the FERNANDEZ BLANCO Museum, a superb colonial building which houses spectacular pieces of 18th and 19th Century silverware and other implements of the colonial era.
